A little more about me

My name is Muiríosa, (pronounced Muir ee sa), I live in Dublin, originally from Kerry, married and a mum to two teenagers.

After more than 20 years in banking and real estate, my world shifted in 2023 when I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at age 44. A year of treatment and surgery gave me time to pause and re-evaluate what truly mattered. I realised something had to change - I needed to live in a healthier, more intentional way, reduce stress, and prioritise my wellbeing with my family.

I’d always been interested in nutrition and fitness, but like so many women, I found myself caught in the cycle of yo-yo dieting - on track one week, off the next, always starting over on Monday or the first of the month. I wanted to finally understand what was happening in my body and find sustainable, lasting ways to support it.

That’s what led me to retrain as a Health Coach. At first, it was about helping my own body recover and rebuild - but it quickly became a passion to help other women take charge of their health, create balance, and feel their best inside and out.

  • Before I started working with Muiriosa, I felt completely lost and unmotivated.     Muiriosa taught me how to care for myself from the inside out, and for the first time, I truly believe I’ll stick with it. I’m so grateful for her patience, encouragement, and genuine care.
